Well that put the MAX in IMAX!

Well that was intense.  I've seen a couple movies now but a 3-D IMAX is a totally different experience.   Talk about a sensory explosion.

I was a little bit confused at first, I mean what was with these glasses.  Daddy had mentioned that the Sharks in the movie would pop out of the screen at me but I had zero frame of reference so it was all a little mysterious, but what the heck, I'll try anything once.

Well, that was the last time I wasn't at the edge of my seat.  It was a little scary when the lights went out but once I had one of Daddy's fingers tightly in my hand I knew everything was going to be alright.

The mystery of why I couldn't touch the Shark that seemed to be floating right in front of me will forever mystify me in the end but why ask why.  Just accept that 3-D is REAL cool.

Game Day!

Today was a rematch of the Super Bowl, Seattle and Denver go head to head at "The Clink".

Were we as excited as our parents, I would say we were more excited, hey, we are kids!  Just give us sugar and balloons and anything is fun!
Unfortunately my Hawks 12th Fan shirt didn't make it to kick-off.  I had a little too much fun tailgating at the park beforehand with water and sand.
Lucky I had a color coordinated shirt to throw on so I could watch an overtime victory!

A Night With Uncle Mark

Today I finally got to visit Uncle Mark's new digs.  Not bad, this whole concept of an "Apartment" was a little alien to me, not being able to yell as loud as I usually do because of other people on the other side of the walls was a different concept but besides that I had a ball!

Mommy and Daddy would never stand for this while they were making dinner but Uncle Mark just took it like a man.

Yeah, sometimes you have to visit the extended family to gain a new life perspective . . . and boy did Uncle Mark have some wisdom!

Feeling A Little More Grown-Up!

Where have I been for a week?  Hey, chill, I had a VERY short Summer Vacation and it is tough for a little guy to get back into the swing of preschool!

Daddy usually takes me to the Happy Meal Place on Friday, it is kind of a Father and Son ritual.  But I have always wondered . . . where does he go later that night to feed Mommy????

Well, tonight I got to go with him!

Turns  out Mommy and Daddy have a secret addiction to Trinidadian food they haven't told me about.  I was kind of disappointed, Daddy should have taken me to Pam's Kitchen a long time ago.
Did I end up eating Roti and Dahlpuri that night?  Of course not, my little palate isn't there yet but I was shown a lot of island hospitality and that is all this little boy really needs!

Nothing like a whole restaurant staff paying attention to you!

A Rewarding Summer Vacation

I did more than just play this Summer Vacation.  Some kids go to camp, well I couldn't squeeze that in but can they say that they possibly saved a life!

The day in the San Juans started out innocently.  I was doing my chores dutifully keeping the chickens fed but then I noticed something . . . .

. . . the sheep eating the berries by the fence hadn't moved in nearly twenty minutes!

After I drew some attention to the situation it was evident, the sheep was stuck!

I was a little disappointed in the way Mommy and Daddy handled it, this was an EMERGENCY and they just were busy taking selfies while Papo and his friend Thurston were getting the wire cutters.
I was disappointed that they didn't seem to take the situation as seriously as they should have but regardless, everything ended up alright.
Hopefully that sheep will learn, sometimes blackberries just aren't worth the risk!
