Bobo a No Go

My parents and grandparents took me to the museum today.  Plenty of inanimate artifacts from Seattle's history like a hydroplane, the original Kidd Valley sign, a picture of Chief Sealth etc. etc..  Dad really tried to get me excited about the stuff especially Bobo, a stuffed Gorilla.  Take me to the zoo and show me one that is alive Dad and I might be a little more excited.

But then things got really exciting!
Dad and Grandpa fitted me for a new car seat so I won't be scrunched anymore and then had a fire in the fireplace that warmed be up and I stared at forever.  Wow!  I appreciate the truly important stuff.

I LOVE my new car seat but could care less about Bobo.

Mystery on the Wall ? ? ? ?

So there is this thing on the wall that I just love to look at.  Could it be the pictures? The lamp? Or is it something else? I would even rather look at it then play in my Baby Einstein. Mommy and Daddy are wondering what it is but I am going to be coy and not tell them.  It is fascinating but is my secret. ; )

It will take someone better then Sherlock Holmes to figure this one out.

My Very First Cold

So I got sick for the first time today. Yuck.  What is the point of getting a cold if you can't miss school.  No benefits I just felt miserable.  Luckily Mom and Dad felt sorry for me and bought me some stuffed dinosaurs on the way home.  If I don't get a little mileage out of this cold my name isn't Jaxon

I swear the next person who puts a nasal aspirator up my nose is going to get bitten even if I just have gums.

Feeling like crap and letting everyone know about it.

Curious George?

Dad read a few stories from the Curious George anthology tonight.  He mused that when I started walking I would be like the well meaning but clueless monkey.  He thought I would be getting into all sorts of trouble just because I didn't know any better.

Well let's think about what you've done this week Dad.  You went on a business trip the wrong week, you overcooked the asparagus and undercooked the pork, you forgot to clean Mom's work clothes.  About the only thing you haven't screwed up is ordering Pizza this week.  Who is the REAL Monkey in the house Dad????

Curious George OR Dad.  I don't know.

I think I'm ahead of at least one of my parents.

Current Affairs

I've been told by my focus group that I need to focus more on current events.  I'd be happy to but I'm just getting a hold of the house I'm living in not to mention the world.  It also doesn't help that my parents do a pretty good job having my head turned away from the TV most of the time so I only hear things with no visuals.

So hear is what I know.  On a national level in Wisconsin the adults are getting worked up and acting like babies about whether public unions can still collectively bargain (How can anybody be angry in a state with so much milk???).

In international news the Middle East is apparently in turmoil because the people are tired of being swaddled for so long.  Especially the people in Libya who are really tired of being swaddled but the person who runs the country, Qaddafi, is just a full grown baby himself.  He kind of reminds me of when I was a newborn.  He is wrinkled, cranky and always wrapped in blankets.  Perhaps if he drank more milk and got his diaper changed more he would be more even tempered and wouldn't bomb civilians as much.

You can't get away with acting like a baby if you aren't cute.

Baby Einstein = Uncommitted Parents

Instead of playing with me, Dad dealt with my abundant energy by simply putting me in my Baby Einstein and then grabbing a bowl of cereal.  Dad, I appreciate that you built the Baby Einstein for me, but it is not a replacement for being an attentive parent.  You were supposed to play with me all night Dad!

As punishment, I will be feisty for the rest of the night.

Don't even try using a pacifier on me!

P.S. Baby Einstein is pretty darn cool. But I will appreciate when I feel like it.

No Sushi For You!

So Mom put the Sushi bib on for me so I was expecting ground Sushi, maybe with a little Wasabi.  But no dice.  Just rice again.

Let's step-up introducing the new food Mom.

Addyson!

I had a play date yesterday with my friend Addyson.  She is a little bit bigger and older than I am, but not by much.  She also talked about how she loved the Valentine I sent her earlier and kept losing her shoe.  Lots of fun even if I slept through some of the play date.

I don't see anything "yucky" about girls.  At least not yet.

Tiger Baby!

So I had a big day of hanging out with my Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma, Uncle and Aunt.  Fun but tiring. Then Mom and Dad took me to China Village for dinner and I met more admirers as well as the owner who my Dad knew.  Apparently because of the year I was born I am a Tiger Baby!

Roar!

Time to Chow Down With Real Food!

I had a very intense day.  I took a break from milk and Mom fed me some organic brown rice cereal!  I spit some of it up but appreciated the texture and the taste.  Perhaps next time Mommy will feed me some Pizza cereal!

Cheers!

Mimi

So my Great Grandmother just came in from Sweden today.  Sweden is the place where they make pancakes which I can't wait to try once my teeth come.

Excited that I have another Grandmother around now.  Grandmothers = Spoiling and now I have three.
Days like this I love being a baby.

Learning About the Legal System

I was a little feisty with Aunt Ashley today.  What can you say, I am just a baby, this is the only way I can really assert myself.  Then she took me to Mommy's work at the Court!  It was full of people who had misbehaved.  I bet they all started out being feisty with their babysitter.

Minding my manners (For at least now)

I Love You Mamma!

So Mom sure earned that name today. Mom and Grandma took me to the Pediatrician today and I got to learn what the word PAIN truly means.  I got shots and then they drew BLOOD from me.  It was traumatic.  But then Mom squeezed and cuddled with me and made me forget the whole horrible event.

This balloon is fascinating!

This is a special Valentines to you Mommy.
I Love You

Salsa Valentine

So Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa and I did an early Valentines Day dinner at Cactus, a Mexican restaurant they like.

Wow!

I slept half the time but when I was up I was UP!  All sorts of sounds and sights.  Flashing chili peppers, a cute Senorita in a high chair and best of all Salsa Music in the background.  I was so excited I kicked off my socks and did a dance on the table with a little help from Grandpa. Ay Caramba!

Adios Amigos!

Avocado?

Mom and Dad took me to Costco today.  Total sensory overload.  To think I thought the Aquarium was overwhelming.  I saw all sorts of people of all ages and sizes and colors converging in one place to buy groceries.  I slept a little bit during the trip but most of the time was spent taking things in.

Then oh my God!  Dad introduced me to green leathery thing called an Avocado.  Such texture.  If I could have fit it into my mouth I could have truly gotten to know it.

Looking forward to getting my teeth.

Finger in the Eye

So I thought Dad might have been jealous of all the attention I was giving Mom like when I knocked her glasses off a month ago.  After all since I can't talk very well  I have to show my appreciation physically. That is why I stabbed him in the eye with my little finger and knocked his contact out.  : )

Happy Early Valentines Day Mom and Dad!

Man in the Mirror

So there is this other baby who seems to share the house with me.  Very odd.  Whenever I move my hand or open my mouth he does the same thing. I get a little territorial but he only shows up when Dad or Mom walks me past the "Mirror"- Whatever that is?

Half Day With Dad

So Daddy was taking me for about half the day.  Honestly it wasn't that much fun since he seemed more determined to work on his computer.  BUT he did take me to Starbucks, wow. So much noise and baristas cooing over me.  I appreciated all the breast imagery too.

Drooling

This stuff is starting to gush out of me, wow!  It gushes out, but unlike a faucet or water fountain there is no "off" switch for me.

I feel like a waterfall must feel!

Diva Tonight

Today I was feeling like a little Diva.  Sure Mom fed me and changed me plenty of times but hey, I am a baby so I might as well take advantage of it!  Nothing like a good crying session to get both Mom AND Dad focused entirely on me.

If you've got it, flaunt it.

High Expectations

So somehow I slept through the entire night and I am bursting with energy now.  I am going to Swedish pancakes early this morning.

Then we watch the Super Bowl.  I hear there will be lots of color and noise from the TV.  And I have the energy to last the entire day!

Looking forward to the party!!!!

Aquarium

So Mom and Dad took me to the Aquarium today.  Way more exciting than my undersea gym.  Pretty thrilling to see the sea animals in real life.  I got to see Fish, an Octopus and big kids running around screaming, I was shivering with excitement!

Then the real excitement.  Going to see Seals being fed. Maybe someday when I graduate from milk, Mom will throw fish into my mouth.

Excited about the new Aquarium membership Mom and Dad got!

Guys Night =Terminator Marathon

So we kind of had a guys night.  Dad drank Coors Light and I guzzled Milk right out of the bottle!

Dad watched The Terminator marathon on the AMC channel.  Kind of intense- the idea of cybernetic organisms coming back from the post apocalyptic year of 2029!

I won't even be twenty years old then!

I'm going to learn some survival skills just as a precaution!

Pizza

So Mom and Dad had some Pagliacci Pizza tonight.  Mom said someday I would love pizza.  I'll reserve judgement.  Maybe if it has milk as a topping.

Open Minded on Pizza.

Hot Lips

So Mom and Dad had Thai food tonight.  I think they had about three or four stars because when Mom started kissing me again it was burning hot.  Ouch.  Oh well, I still love you Mommy!

Love,

Lothario

So Mom called me a little Lothario when I sent out my Valentines Day cards.

Turns out Lothario was a character in the Don Quixote stories.  Now it is description of a "seductive ladies man".  I'm all about the ladies.  Ladies + Breasts  = Milk.

Looking forward to more breast conquests.
