Who Dares to Put Vitamins in my Milk

So Dad fed me some of Mom's milk with vitamins in it.  Not very nice.  What will they do next?!? Try and feed me milk with broccoli in it?

I love Dad of course but to get even for that unpleasant vitamin milk I projectile pooped in my pajamas- Nothing like a good second changing before bed to show who is boss.

Respect My Authority Dad.

Taking it to the Next Level

So there is a time when people such as athletes and business men need to step up their game.  That is what I am doing right now.  Not only am I learning to yell louder, but I am becoming more adept at keeping my neck up and nearly kicked a box of diaper wipes over today.

Things are starting to happen now!

Go Away Paparazzi

I know I am a celebrity and should expect the flash of cameras in my life but- please respect my privacy.  Just like those celebrities who have TMZ shouting at them when they are just trying to have a bite to eat with their families- sometimes I just don't want to be bothered.

I am human- NOT a marketing commodity!

Paparazzi Go Away.

So I went shopping with Mom and Grandma today.  Still kind of confused about what this "Shopping" thing is all about.

I do know that lots of women were giving me attention.  Mom said I was "flirting" with them.  Well, if flirting gets me access to even more women and more milk then I'll keep it up.

So Dad used some colorful language today.  Mom told him it was time he got in the habit of censoring what he said around me.  First of all Mom- thanks for showing me which are the bad words.  I'll be keeping more detailed mental notes.

Looking forward to learning how to talk so I can really demonstrate my vocabulary in the future.

I Don't Want to be Married or be an Astronaut

So Dad was waxing poetic about me growing-up and what I would be later in life.  He thought maybe I'd be an astronaut or a lawyer.  He also mentioned that there might be a little baby girl out there who I would marry.

For God's sake Dad.  I'm just a baby.  Stop pushing a career and family so early.  I don't want to grow up that fast!

Actually this might be a fun job to have.

So after a fun day of watching Grandpa play around the house with his tape measure and hammer I decided it was time for a fashion show.

I love my new tyrannosaurus pajamas but I had slept in them last night and wanted a change. So I made a gigantic poop and just like the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs and brought the mammals- they replaced my tyrannosaurus pjs with woolly mammoth ones.  I got to do a fashion show and science lesson.

Seeing is Believing.

Now that I can see a lot further things are really starting to amaze me.  Dad put me in my swing and I finally saw my mobile.  That thing just fascinated the bejeezus out of me.  Of course in two minutes I was asleep- but wow!

Sunday, January 23, 2011

So now I understand why those celebrities on TMZ get so tired of reporters badgering them.
Saturday was spent meeting with my extended family.  Lots of people who look like Dad and Grandpa.  Kind of interesting that I'm the youngest member of this Clan.

Then on Sunday even more people came by who were friends of Mom and Dad and I got tossed around even more.

Now I don't mind the attention.  I sure made sure Dad kept his attention on me today.  However, getting passed around gets a little annoying after awhile.  If this happens much more I might act like one of those celebrities and take a page out of Sean Penn's playbook- smash the camera.

News Flash!!!

I was so fascinated with watching Dad walk around the living room while I was on tummy time- I rolled myself over all on my own!

Buddha Belly

Since I've gained a bit of weight in the last couple weeks a lot of people have taken to rubbing my little Buddha belly.

It's actually quite annoying especially when we have an agenda like getting my diapers changed so I can get fed.  For God's Sake, I'm not a little Good Luck Charm.

Leg Muscles

Had to have a little workout today.  I kick and kick and kick but still can't walk the way Mom and Dad do. Very lame.  Just wait till I get these things working though.  I'm going to charge all around the house and give them a run for their money.

I've already heard them planning safety gates for me but I'll find a way to override them.  Maybe you two shouldn't run your mouths so much when I'm in the room even if it looks like I'm asleep.

Celebrity Rehab Silliness

So I watched a bit of "Celebrity Rehab" with Dr. Drew.  And you call me a baby!?!  Those people might as well have been wearing diapers and sucking pacifiers like me (I think some of them were actually).  Especially Kesha Cole's Mom.

I really couldn't deal with these "adults".  I dealt with it in my normal way. Taking a long nap.

Not going to grow-up too fast.

Tuesday, January 18, 2011

So I woke up with a bump on my cheek.  It could have been a zit but there is some talk that there is a more ominous explanation.  There could be a vicious spider in the bedroom.  Dad checked all over but couldn't find an indication of a web.  Regardless I will take my revenge. When I can get these feet of mine to work better I'll squash them.  You made an enemy with the wrong baby spider.  If I don't get you I will get your descendants someday.

I'm after your future babies spider.

Celebrating Dr. King's Legacy

In keeping in the spirit of Martin Luther King's legacy of non-violent protests I staged one myself tonight.  Lots of screaming and hand flailing were definitely in order.  Why?  Well why not.  I had a rash on my cheek so I decided I'd make things tough for Dad when he was changing me.  Who needs a reason?  Sometimes you just need to make a point.  Just because a protest isn't violent doesn't mean it can't be loud and obnoxious.

Fight for Power!

First MLK Day

So I had my first Martin Luther King Day.  Learned that there was a time in this country when people were treated differently because of the color of their skin.  Adults are so strange.  They come up with all sorts of strange ways to complicate their lives with racism and war.  All a person really needs is a full breast of milk and a diaper change and life is good.  I'm not looking forward to becoming an adult and having to deal with all this illogical behavior.

Not Sold on Optimus Prime Yet

So Mom left for a couple of hours tonight which allowed Dad to watch whatever he wanted on TV.  He watched "Deliverance" with Burt Reynolds but I slept through most of that movie.  Then when I woke up, the movie "Transformers" had started and Dad got excited and told me about Optimus Prime and Megatron.  I just wanted to drink my bottle.  I could care less about this guy trying to relive his childhood.

Then to keep the silly theme going he dressed me in my robot pjs.  Honestly, I was glad when Mom got home.  She says I will look forward later to being with Dad since we will bend some rules.  The only person who seemed to be having fun was Daddy.

Looking forward to a peaceful night without Transformers.

Mom and Dad took me to the Picasso exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum today.  I am rapidly becoming a cultured baby!
The images were very impressive.  All sorts of new colors and edges.  The synapses in my little developing brain were going wild!  I also got to meet another baby at the exhibit and total strangers came up to me and patted my little head.  Lots of attention!

I really do wonder if there are humans like the images at the museum.  I hope I won't grow-up to look like one of these people.  Still very intriguing.

Then Mom and Dad took me to a room with a bunch of decapitated heads with their noses knocked off.  Very disturbing and confusing.  I cried all the way home until I was safely home drinking milk curled up with Mom.

Hopefully none of these things will be in my dreams tonight.  Scarey.

Thursday, January 13, 2011

So I decided to wake-up a little earlier today because I was hungry.  Mom said something to Dad about me getting into a pattern.  First of all I was annoyed that I was being talked over and refuse to be pigeon holed.  This pattern will be decided by me!

Having a fun week.  I miss Mom since she started going back to work, but I have been taken care of by Grandma Linda, Grandma June and Aunt Ashley.  Not that I mind, but I'm not getting any of the advantages of babysitting by relatives.  I'm too young for cartoons, ice cream and presents.

Snow is Evil

So supposedly I will have fun in the snow in the future.  I have heard someday I will like snow ball fights and making snowmen.
But when Dad was just walking me to the car all I felt was the cold slush coming onto my face.  This isn't my first time with snow.  Around Thanksgiving Mom and Dad tortured me with snow photos.  Very uncool.

Baby Aerobics

I just had a vigorous workout with Dad.  It involves him holding and staring at me while I flail around till I start panting like a dog.  Great exercise but even I have my limits.  Time to lay down and get some Angel Baby lotion from Mom and get pampered.

I'm sure I'll be asleep soon.

Sunday, January 9, 2011

Woke-up after a rest in the morning and then Dad turns the TV on and this guy pops-up.   Very disturbing.  Thank God I could curl-up with Mommy and nurse and be comforted.

Hopefully this guy won't be around for too long while I am growing-up.  Not the best person to wake-up to, especially when you need a diaper changed and are hungry.

Mom Goes Back to Work

Mommy went back to the office today and Grandma took me.  We went on a walk, snuggled and then I took a long nap.  Looking forward to getting ice cream once my digestive system matures and going on trips to the zoo when I have the capacity to stay awake in my stroller for more then fifteen minutes.

Mom just entered me in the Trumpette Baby Picture competition.  Please don't hate me for being beautiful.

Rick Steves Denied

Tried to catch a little of the Rick Steves special on Scandinavia. Certainly sounded like a fun place.  Mom and Dad kept telling me about taking me to Sweden someday but Mom had me turned away from the TV looking at her the entire time.  Way to go Mom.

Dad can be of use someday

Kind of coming around to Dad.  He isn't as soft and smooth as Mom so snuggling up to his hairy body isn't as fun.  He is also a lousy source of food.  However Mom tells me someday he will take me to the park when I learn how to walk.

He does try.  I'm reserving judgment on him for another year- then we will see.

Sunday, January 2, 2011

Not being able to walk is just getting frustrating at this point in time.  I'm ready to start exploring.  I realize that I don't have the muscles developed to pull this off but this is the last time I will even pretend to be patient.  Mom and Dad better be ready to buy me a bike and then a car when the time is right. I'm not acting spoiled- just looking out for my needs.  I will not be contained!

I Wasn't Tardy for the Party!

Partying it up on New Years!  I was awake for the change into the New Year.  Drank lots of milk right before the ball dropped so I will probably take a quick nap but then I will be back staying up and partying till the wee hours whether Mom and Dad want to or not!

Happy New Years
