The Sword and the Refrigerator

I always knew that I was destined to be KING of the house. There is just something in me that says that I am the divinely appointed ruler of my family.

Though I can certainly dress the part I needed a true sign from GOD. Well, if I wasn't going to pull a Sword from a Stone I would at least pull one from the refrigerator.

Hey, what can I say. In the absence of a stone you sometimes have to make do when you are showing that the ALMIGHTY is giving you the right to rule benevolently. -Jaxon

Going to the Non-Play Equipment Part of Magnuson Park!

For some reason Daddy decided that we should go to the part of the park that didn't have play equipment. I was excited! I was being treated more like a grown-up! It was great . . . for a little bit. I got to go to a beach full of giant rocks I could throw. Very exciting!

But all of a sudden I could hear a chorus of honking and a whole armada of Canadian Geese began sailing into me territory! They were not to be trusted. I started backing onto higher ground.

Perhaps it would be better if I retreated to even higher ground.

Once I was safe from the Geese I traveled to the Share the Vision Walkathon. I am a sensitive Toddler so I can certainly get behind raising funds for people who have trouble seeing.

I almost personally hurt the sight of one of the participants with a stick to the eye but he took it with humor as I ran off. Hey, when you have potentially angered someone twice the size of you it is better to run instead of walk!

And best of all there was a real live King hosting the Walkathon!

The play ground offers all sorts of kids to befriend, but I have never met true royalty there!

Despite all the excitement I was happy to come back to the security of Elmo and Chica. Sometimes the grown-up world can be a little overwhelming for a Toddler!

All Hail THE KING

Oh it is good to be a KING! As there can only be one Sun in the sky there can only be one KING of the house.

I do enjoy the activities of a KING. Be it cuddling with my pet Tyrannosaurus Rex (The only real acceptable pet for a KING) or playing with my fleet of planes and sports cars. I do appreciated the hobbies that royalty provides. Of course a KING has to rule also. Being an ABSOLUTE MONARCH is not all fun and games.

I did a good job surveying the building of my castle in the dining room. I marched across the ramparts and shouted orders to Daddy.

Sadly, Daddy was a little slow at jumping to my proclamations. I was forced to throw him into my dungeon for a little while. Sometimes it is tough to be a KING! I can't show favoritism just because he his my Daddy. God Save The Jaxon!

Being A Knight . . . But No Adventure (Curse That Ferry)

So my friend Corbin had a birthday party on Saturday. Corbin is wonderful, he smothers me with hugs and kisses whenever we hang-out. We planned a Knight adventure in the Magical Land Across The Sea (Bainbridge). I knew it would involve Dragons, Maidens and Magic! So I made sure to dress accordingly.

Who knows what adventure would be found on Bainbridge. I fully anticipated coming home with a Maiden and some Treasure!

Sadly, traffic made us late for the Ferry and my parents loathed the idea of waiting around for another couple of hours with me yelling.

Well, there was no Knight adventure that day, I had to settle to eat like a King. Still, I would have at least liked to have jousted! - Sir Jaxon
