A Real Treat!

Daddy took me to the Beach today!  Magnuson Park is so fun with the beach and the wading pool!  Don't let the sour look on my face fool you.  I was way too active so this was the only picture Daddy was able to get of me.

After a VERY intense two hours of playing Daddy said it was time to have a treat and he didn't disappoint!
This was my first Polish Dog!  The great thing was that the nice lady at the Caddy Shack even advised me what was the best toppings.  When having a new food experience it is important to have a good consultant.
Yeah I didn't have any trouble polishing that thing off!  Next stop . . . Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest!

Going to the Non-Play Equipment Part of Magnuson Park!

For some reason Daddy decided that we should go to the part of the park that didn't have play equipment. I was excited! I was being treated more like a grown-up! It was great . . . for a little bit. I got to go to a beach full of giant rocks I could throw. Very exciting!
But all of a sudden I could hear a chorus of honking and a whole armada of Canadian Geese began sailing into me territory! They were not to be trusted. I started backing onto higher ground.
Perhaps it would be better if I retreated to even higher ground.
Once I was safe from the Geese I traveled to the Share the Vision Walkathon. I am a sensitive Toddler so I can certainly get behind raising funds for people who have trouble seeing.
I almost personally hurt the sight of one of the participants with a stick to the eye but he took it with humor as I ran off. Hey, when you have potentially angered someone twice the size of you it is better to run instead of walk!
And best of all there was a real live King hosting the Walkathon!
The play ground offers all sorts of kids to befriend, but I have never met true royalty there!
Despite all the excitement I was happy to come back to the security of Elmo and Chica. Sometimes the grown-up world can be a little overwhelming for a Toddler!

Mommy Protection

I may be a little tall for my age but I am no match for a burly ten year old. And a whole pack of them invaded the play field today. Some of them treated me the way I should be treated, as a precious and irresistibly cute toddler, but two of the boys were not as respectful. They nearly knocked me off the play equipment! Good thing Mommy was there to give them a piece of her mind!
And after that they told her I should be sent to the sandbox! Oh that really got them chewed-out! Needless to say, I preserved my position on the play equipment! Nice to know Mommy has my back! -Jaxon

My Most Exciting Tuesday Night Ever!

Tuesday nights have never been particularly exciting. Mommy and Daddy are usually tired and not a lot happens. But not tonight!
We started the evening at my favorite public house, Pies and Pints, but that was only the beginning.
Oh there is nothing like Magnuson Park during the Summer. Especially when I am one of the only children in the park. I am the captain of this ship!
Well, I'm happy not to be the only boy in the park. I met a new friend, Raphael who was smiling at me from the tunnel. I'm all about new friends and drinks. What a great Tuesday. -Jaxon

Maxing Out The Fun (Without Maxing Out The Bank Account)

My friend Ben and I hit the Magnuson Park Activity Center today. Wow! All this fun for only $3!

We had some pretty sweet rides! It was as if we went to a car show and had free range to sample all the merchandise with no strings attached.

After that we relaxed in the inflatable house.

Hey, sometimes after a day driving you need to hit the Road House even if it is inflatable.
