The Limits Of Siri

I had high expectations for Siri after last weekend.  She certainly got the job done in locating the Gyro Hut when we needed something to eat after a vigorous day at the water park.

It just seemed natural that she could tell me where I could find a Sauropod.  Hey, if she could find a place to eat good Gyros hidden in a mall how hard could it be to find a dinosaur in Seattle that on average is larger than a house.
Well, I soon found the limits of this piece of technology.  Still, that Gyro was pretty good.

Seeing If An iPhone Can Swim

Well it seemed like a good idea at the time but the experiment wasn't worth it.  I have all sorts of toys that do well in water.  My Rubber Ducky, my Seaplane, even my plastic Cow.  Turns out that an iPhone isn't meant for water.

This happened last night and I have been in the "Dog House" for the last 24 Hours!  And by "Dog House" I mean sent to bed without a story.  It did mean I got a trip to the Apple Store with Mommy where she was informed that she broke the record for cashing in her AppleCare the earliest after getting a new phone.  I should at least get some credit for that Mommy!

Unfortunately, that was a record she wasn't impressed that I helped her break.

Driving Mommy Crazy!

Daddy left Mommy's iPhone in his pocket when he left for work today.  Not saying I really minded it though Mommy did.  Without her phone she wasn't able to monitor me through the day which gave me a little bit of independence . . . Even though she was able to still communicate with Aunt Ashley through Facebook posts.

Not everything went smoothly, Auntie didn't know how to use the hose and wasn't able to communicate with Mommy so there would be no "Pool Time".

Still, a day with one less adult monitoring me was worth it.

Neglect!

As a growing boy it is important that I am fed at least three meals a day. That is why it made me so mad that Mommy and Daddy weren't feeding me this morning. They seemed more interested in playing on their iPhones. Normally I would start yelling. But I am developing a passive aggressive side. What can I say, being that I am a Seattle Toddler this is a trait I will have to develop.
If Mommy and Daddy won't feed me on time I will resort to gnawing on a meatless dinosaur skeleton to make a subtle point.
There we go. They finally got their act together. -Jaxon

Fun With Water!

We sure had a hot day today. Weather like this and a little guy like myself needs to strip down and get into water quickly. Thankfully, my parents recently purchased a Water Table!
So much fun to play in the water. Mommy's iPhone seemed like it wanted to play too so I dumped it in the water the way Daddy dumps me in the bath. Hey, I'm just trying to make sure that it stays cool and clean. I didn't think I deserved a 30 second "Time Out". I was just trying to help! -Jaxon

Yet Again, iPhone Avoids a Meltdown!

I admit, I can't sustain myself without at least two naps a day and going to bed before 8 PM. Mommy and Daddy left me with Papo and Deeda for a "Date Night". It wouldn't have been a problem but Uncle Mark showed-up to the house with A LOT of his friends and I was a serious center of attention. Man did I run myself ragged. I didn't realize how overextended I was until about 8:30!

Mommy and Daddy your are soooo lucky I was able to access the iPhone for the five minute ride home with it's plethora of apps.
