Going to the Non-Play Equipment Part of Magnuson Park!
For some reason Daddy decided that we should go to the part of the park that didn't have play equipment. I was excited! I was being treated more like a grown-up!
It was great . . . for a little bit.
I got to go to a beach full of giant rocks I could throw. Very exciting!
But all of a sudden I could hear a chorus of honking and a whole armada of Canadian Geese began sailing into me territory!
They were not to be trusted. I started backing onto higher ground.
Perhaps it would be better if I retreated to even higher ground.
Once I was safe from the Geese I traveled to the Share the Vision Walkathon. I am a sensitive Toddler so I can certainly get behind raising funds for people who have trouble seeing.
I almost personally hurt the sight of one of the participants with a stick to the eye but he took it with humor as I ran off. Hey, when you have potentially angered someone twice the size of you it is better to run instead of walk!
And best of all there was a real live King hosting the Walkathon!
The play ground offers all sorts of kids to befriend, but I have never met true royalty there!
Despite all the excitement I was happy to come back to the security of Elmo and Chica. Sometimes the grown-up world can be a little overwhelming for a Toddler!

Whipping Cream!
Mommy and Daddy were preparing to go to a barbecue tonight. Mommy's contribution was going to be a peach cobbler. Of course, what is a buttery peach cobbler without a health dose of whipped cream on top.
The best thing about whip cream is I get to lick the whisk!
I also got to spread what I didn't eat all around the living room which was fun as well.
As a side note, it turns out that the barbecue was actually scheduled for tomorrow. Daddy didn't read his text closely enough.
Oh well, I still got to play with some other toddlers while Mommy and Daddy sorted out the confusion of coming to their friend's house on the wrong day.
This also means I got all the whip cream!

Give Me More!
Oh did we have fun last night. I didn't expect that I would actually get a chance to try one of these . . .
I have had a few sweets during my time- from pie to my weekend waffle. But I've never had the pure sugar focus of a chocolate chip before. Oh my!
Not only was I up at 3:00 am, I was happy and wanted to play.
Mommy and Daddy didn't seem all that happy but that is not my problem. I was too cute to be mad at.

Dreaming - The Double Edged Sword!
One of the things I am experiencing over the last year is finally recognizing that I Dream!
I wonder what I will dream about tonight?????
Hopefully it will be like last nights dream where I was drinking a never ending bottle of milk after eating a waffle the size of my house.
Occasionally I do have a nightmare. A few nights ago I had a dream that Daddy drained the bathtub and I went down the drain also.
Scary!
Still, it does get me quicker access to Mommy. My little screams instantly get me into my parent's bed.
Victory!

The Mazda!
I have begged Daddy nearly every day to let me drive his car. Well, tonight he finally relented.
The Mazda isn't set-up for a Toddler. There is no car seat and if Daddy drove me he would have to do it Britney Spears style.
Strangely, I thought when you drive a car it is actually supposed to move! I still didn't mind seeing what it was like to drive a real car though.
Only fourteen long more years until I am Sixteen!

I Don't Think I am a Painter but . . .
Daddy took me to visit a show by his friend Matt today. Matt is an Artist, more correctly he is a Painter.
His work was good! Unfortunately, it is something I don't think I could ever replicate.
Daddy tried to get me excited about painting but I don't think it is who I am. I'm just not patient enough to have painting be my creative outlet.
Thankfully, I discovered something from across the room that fit me great!
Not only did the piano have keys to bang on, it had a key cover I could slam!
Unfortunately I could only bang on the keys for so long before I was dragged away. Apparently Daddy thought I was causing too much of a disturbance. Especially since we were at a church!
Well, at least I have found my artistic calling. Bring on the Piano Lessons!

Partying at the Wurst Festival
Oh my! I didn't expect so much excitement last night. Daddy was a little unavailable to blog last night because he stayed up past his bedtime at the beer garden. But to be fair I was out a little past mine as well.
We attended the Great Wallingford Wurst Festival!
We really tore it up! Dominic "The Dominator" and I ate lots of bratwurst, high fived, fist pumped and made Floor Angels together.
Apparently there is some character named Dave Matthews who often attends as a guest, I didn't see him but that didn't really bother me.
Who needs Dave when you have unhindered access to Discovery Toys!

A World Denied!
Mommy and Daddy had a mischievous way about them tonight, as if they were going to do something after they put me to bed.
Well, this Toddler wasn't born yesterday. I know exactly what is going to happen . . . .
Mommy and Daddy are going to have an exotic Thai experience tonight.
Because of my peanut allergy I have been assured that I will NEVER, NEVER, EVER have Thai food. No Pad Thai, Pad See Ew no Bubble Tea. Daddy won't even take me into Krua Thai Family Kitchen when we drive past. Just a look Daddy! At least give me a glimpse!
All I know is that tomorrow I will wake-up to the glorious smell of Thai food lingering in the air but I won't even get to see it.
An entire cultural experience denied because of a stupid allergy. Life is not fair.

Looking to the Stars!
Bailey and I took in the Planetarium today at the Science Center. It was here that I learned a little about how small I actually am.
My little Toddler mind didn't quite understand everything they were discussing . . . all I know is there is a lot out there.
I am beginning to think that the Universe is a little bigger than my house.
This will definitely take some thinking about before bed time tonight.

A New Toy!
I was being a naughty boy tonight so Mommy and Daddy decided I needed a distraction. Better to play with a new toy instead of a time-out.
And oh what a toy it was! A Bubble Gun is such an improvement over just blowing bubbles.
Casually blowing bubbles is fun . . . but when the bubbles come at you like a waterfall it is a true joy!
Hey, whatever gets the most bubbles out the better!

Taking Care of Elmo
I have decided to adopt Elmo into my life as a type of surrogate little brother.
And like any big brother I'm making sure I show him the ropes.
I have heard stories from my Daddy about Uncle Mark pooping all over the house so I am bound and determined that he wears his diapers and understands how to use a toilet correctly.
I will make sure he always knows that he is part of a family.
I don't mind an addition to the family, as long as he is stuffed.

An Early Bath!
Daddy and I had a fun trip to Ravenna Park today. The idea was that I would concentrate on the play equipment. Play equipment is great but nothing has a draw for a little boy like DIRT!
Oh I loved rolling around in the grass and dirt. I was a dirtier boy when we left but I was much happier!
I felt like a happy little piglet when it was all over and Daddy took me home for mid-day bath!

Hanging With My O.G.!
With all due respect to the other gals in my life such as Bailey and Nora, I will always have my Original Gal (O.G.). It was sure nice to reconnect with Addyson.
Oh what a time we had at the Everett Children's Museum!
I know, I know, I am too jealous of a Toddler to actually want a sister but I don't mind sampling what having one is like for a day.
Don't we make a great pair!

My First Day of School!
I had been told that I would have my first day of Pre-Pre School today.
My anticipation was huge. I mean, I was getting dressed-up for something.
Mommy even got a little emotional! She was hugging me quite a bit.
Oh what a day I had. We sang songs, played under a parachute and got myself stamped many many times.
There was also a "Sensory Station". It involved sticking my hand in a sandbox full of rice. I even felt compelled to re-arrange some child furniture.
I made many new friends today. But it is important to keep up with your old friends also. That is why it was nice to have some chicken nuggets at the Rainforest Cafe with my old friends Corbin and Ian.
Make new friends but keep the old I say!

Getting My Sea Legs!
Well, I finally really got my Sea Legs today. The Center for Wooden Boats really gives you a hands-on experience.
I was taught today that it takes a little more to be a true sailor.
I will Captain my own ship someday. But first I must learn every aspect of running a ship. A true Skipper knows everything first so he can pass on his knowledge to his crew!

Some BIG Questions About My Family Tree
I looked into my Family Tree and I don't think I have any resemblance to the men I am directly descended from. The men who are my closest ancestors are an architect, a rocket scientist, a gas salesman and a baker. No mention of anyone being a PIRATE!
I'm just saying . . . I really think being a pirate is in my blood. I just feel so natural with a spyglass and a cutlass.
Hmmm . . .
Perhaps if we looked back one more generation we would see someone with my features sailing behind a Jolly Rogers and raiding Galleons!
Argh!
