Benefits of a Dino Addicted Toddler

I've really consolidated my interests (As You Might Have Realized), my life has pretty much become All Dinosaurs All The Time.

I watch them on my computer, I even arrange Dinosaurs to watch Dinosaurs.

All of this has become a great benefit to my parents.  All my legos and cars and trains that I used to litter the house with every night are now all collectively gathering dust in their respective boxes.

Nothing makes cleaning easy when there is only one type of toy in circulation.  Done and Done!

Cheering On My Cousin!

It has been awhile since I have seen my cousin Kaylee.  I didn't know she had become the next Sue Bird!

It was an intense time for her.  She is leading her team to the All Star Basketball Championship.

It was tough getting there on time fighting northern rush hour traffic on I-5 but I made it on time to see her SCORE!  It was intense.

Despite my enthusiasm I didn't expect her to be so excited to see me.  

Gotta love Cousins!

Learning About Microscopic Life The Hard Way

Look at that wonderful picture.  It almost looks like something out of Norman Rockwell. A Toddler and his Grandfather share a moment together.  How sweet!  Is there anything more wholesome than an image like this!

Well, turns out there is an entire different world going on underneath this tranquil scene.  Yeah, it had been a year since this sand had been put to use and it had become a home of perhaps millions of new guests.

Yeah, my little immune system got a bit of a workout tonight.

Back From "The Big Easy"

I was chomping at the bit today.  Papo and Deeda had disappeared for a week attending their 50th High School reunion in the "Big Easy" otherwise known as New Orleans.

Papo and Deeda met there in in the French Quarter when they were just a little older than me . . . you have to at least be tall enough to put money on the counter to purchase your drink.

Thanks for bringing a little of the Mardi Gras spirit back to Seattle for me!

Even I Knew That Was Wrong!

I am still learning what is right and wrong in life. After all, I am only three years old, but even I can call out bad behavior when I see it.  Sometimes you have to see the world in Black and White terms and tonight was just one of those times.

Hey, I love to break open the chalk to draw Dinosaur footprints on the pavement, but that isn't permanent.  It disappears as soon as it rains and in this city that is quite a bit.  When I do it I consider it Art, not Graffiti.  

Still can't believe my Happy Meal Place is getting tagged.  I bet it was one of those teenagers I always see there.

Shopping For A Girl Is TOUGH!

I was off to a birthday for my friend Sophie today.  This was a very special birthday because my friendship with Sophie is special.  She is the first friend I have made away from my parents.  Mommy didn't even know who she was when I got the invitation to her Birthday.

That is why the gift had to be extra special.  If I am mature enough to make my own friends I should be mature enough to pick the correct present.

I'm SURE she would love a Velociraptor!

Or a life sized Lizard maybe!

Now I know why Daddy has it so tough shopping for Mommy.  He totally said my choices were unacceptable!

Daddy directed me to a section of the Toy Store I never knew even existed.  What can I say, I just never gravitated to it.

Me Not A Couch Potato Daddy!

So Daddy comes home from work and instantly starts grilling me.  All I wanted to do is relax a bit and watch Frozen for the hundredth time.

Hey Daddy, I went to swimming lessons and ran with Auntie's dog Atlas all day.  I would like to see how you would be holding-up after a day like that.

Yeah, you would probably be a Spud on the couch too, Daddy.
