If you were lounging on Lake Washington drinking a beer and eating potato chips you sure weren't living in this Toddler's world. Forget Blue Angels and Hydroplanes or even those people in the Olympics that were all on display this weekend, the real showing of human achievement was Jaxon at the Madison Park Playground and the Northacres Spray Park.
I don't think anyone could replicate climbing park equipment in the heat or charging through spraying water the way I did. It was a true showing of strength and endurance! And Man, did I SWEAT!
Good thing Mommy was there with a steady supply of Apple Carrot Squeezes and Water for her little athlete.
Just Do It!

Bubble Bath!
My parents have had to fight recently to get me in the bath. What can I say, the novelty of water coming out of a faucet has kind of passed.
Well, Mommy and Daddy took a cue from Caillou's parents and brought in Bubbles!
I instantly changed from fighting Daddy when he tried to take me in the bath . . . to trying to run into the bath with my clothes on!
I had so much fun that I shared with Daddy. Hey, when you are having a good time you need in involve everyone in the room!
Sharing the wealth!

Meeting Some More Descendants of Daddy's Neighborhood Friends
Daddy grew-up in Montlake and had a lot of close friends on his block. Well, the next generation has come around. I got to meet a few more of them tonight.
Daddy's friend John has two children. I made the introduction of Apollo and Sasha tonight.
We were a bit stand-offish at first. Sometimes I can be a shy toddler.
We watched each other curiously from across the table. Were we going to move beyond parallel play????
We bonded though. There is just something about piggybacking, a wading pool and pulling Daddy's hair that is universal.
I like my new friends!

Rocking with a Former President
Well, he has changed a little bit since Daddy saw him at Bumbershoot in the 90s but now I got to see Chris Ballew.
He is not part of the Presidents anymore but has recast himself as Casper Baby Pants
Oh well, I have heard some people get more childish when they get older. He didn't say the F-Word when he was playing the way he did when Daddy saw him . . . but he did still talk about poop a lot.
Thankfully, there was still a Mosh Pit! Still, Daddy annoyed me when he continually denied my attempts to get on stage.
All I wanted to do was play a few sets with Casper!

My First Day of Organized Sports
In preparation for Mommy becoming a true Soccer Mom I joined Little Kickers today.
Watching the Olympics has totally been turning me into a competitive Toddler. Definitely an exciting day. Give me a Soccer Ball and a giant piece of foam and I can't be stopped.
Well they did try to stop me. What is with these giant barriers they installed to try and box me in.
Before long I had inspired a full on revolt by all the other children to try to scale the wall, it was great!
Daddy mentioned that I had better play by the rules more. He said he isn't looking forward to trying to smooth things out with the Little Kickers staff for me being disruptive.

My First Giraffe!
Yeah I do appreciate my Sophie la Girafe but lets be honest. She is plastic.
Every time I go to the zoo there is way too much of a crowd but today Pay Dirt! I actually got to see s Giraffe in the flesh.
Oh did I say the word "Dirt". With Ian and Corbin I got to go to the petting zoo and play with some goats after we visited the Giraffe.
Now that is real living! I am all about the Interactive Zoo model!
Book me a Safari Daddy!

Doing My Part
I decided that the water could be flowing better in the house. Sadly, I really don't think that Daddy has the mechanical skills to do the plumbing correctly. I just had to step in.
Hey, Daddy does a good job Ghostwriting my blogs. But he doesn't know Jack about the details of plumbing.
The whole small stature thing works great also, for getting into those harder to reach places.
Someone needs to keep the water flowing in this house!
