Well, It Worked For A Little While

I had a great day at school today.  So much so that I decided to bring the enthusiasm home and peak while Mommy was cooking dinner.

The living room AND the dining room looked like a little hurricane hit them.  Even a "Time Out" didn't damper my enthusiasm.

I could sense that Mommy was getting angry so I reminded her how much I loved her and missed her at school.  It sure worked, she melted.

But as usual I pushed my luck again.  Right after this picture was taken I began pulling out one of my cars for an after dinner drive even though I hadn't picked-up a single toy from before dinner (That is the job of Mommies and Daddies).

Another "Time Out"!  I guess cuteness will only get me so far.  Not like I will quit using it though.

Time Out For Both Of Mommy's Boys

Mommy loves the two men in her life but sometimes we push her too far. We were wrestling and squealing in the living room tonight after dinner. We just pushed her too far.

That was when Mommy decided she should regulate. We both spent some time in "Time Out". What can you say, sometimes guys of any age need a little time to simmer down-Jaxon

We visited Dr. Tom today. All and all it was a pleasant enough experience. There was a brief betrayal when the nurse gave me an unexpected shot that resulted in some glaring but I was all smiles after I got a colorful band-aid. Everything was fine until Dr. Tom gave Mommy a talk about "Time Out". Apparently I will be trying to show my independence more and more. Sometimes I will be pushing the boundaries of good behavior.

Rough! I'm not looking forward to this development in the future. Daddy couldn't resist holding the prospect of "Time Out" over my little head all night. Well, put a fence up and I'll try and jump it. Get ready for a Power Struggle Baby! -Jaxon
