I'm Back!

I know, I know, it has been well over a year but I'm an active boy now.  It's hard to just slow down and write.  Sorry.  A lot has happened.  My old pre-school closed down and we had to scramble to find a new place, the Seahawks forgot to run the ball and we didn't get another Super Bowl victory and I got a Bearded Dragon. Phew!

So many events and so little time to blog.  But today I'm so frustrated by my situation I needed an outlet.

The Tonsillectomy was sold to me as a way that I would sleep better with the fringe benefits of living off of popsicles and milkshakes for a week.  Well, I'm stir crazy.  Thankfully, because of the internet everybody in the world can now hear about my frustrations.

I'm Back, and I'm Bad!

Game Day!

Today was a rematch of the Super Bowl, Seattle and Denver go head to head at "The Clink".

Were we as excited as our parents, I would say we were more excited, hey, we are kids!  Just give us sugar and balloons and anything is fun!
Unfortunately my Hawks 12th Fan shirt didn't make it to kick-off.  I had a little too much fun tailgating at the park beforehand with water and sand.
Lucky I had a color coordinated shirt to throw on so I could watch an overtime victory!

Daddy's Little 12th Man!

It was a Seahawks filled day today.  Even starting with my Sunday Doughnut!

Didn't have any trouble showing my team pride in that department!
Yummy!  Still, for the rest of the day I decided to toy with Daddy's emotion.  I mean, why not.  "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" is far more important to me at this point in my life.  So when Daddy tried to put on my little "12th Man" Jersey I cried just because I could.
Finally, when Daddy started treating me like an equal by getting me a 12th Can (Even if it wasn't opened) I decided to fall into line.
Oh yeah!  We are going to the Super Bowl!  Watch out Denver!

Learning Football With Mr. Jasen

My Daddy is great, but he kind of drops the ball (Both figuratively and literally) when it comes to teaching me the fundamentals of football.  Yeah, Daddy was happy to go to the Monday night football event with my classmates but all he wanted to do was talk about the Sonics.  Come on Daddy, get on the bandwagon!  Mr. Jasen doesn't need to hear about the glory days of a team that left Seattle years before I was even born!

Lucky I have Mr. Jasen as a teacher.  I kept coming back to him all night so he could explain the details of this fascinating game and possibly give me some ideas about what position I should be playing.
Yeah, the Seahawks didn't have any trouble dismantling the Saints.  I think I see my calling if I can get more people in my life to encourage my aspirations!

Touchdown!

The End of the Football Season

Mommy didn't really care for watching the game with us today.
Still, she was nice enough to give her 12th Men some blueberry muffins before she left . . . a little calm before the insanity of the game started. What the?!?!?!!!
By halftime the score was Falcons 20 and Seahawks 0! Dang Pete Carroll, get your house in order. Daddy was also failing, if you want to keep me settled you have to at least have SUPER WHY! on in the background to keep my nerves in check. A football game doesn't have the tranquility of Caillou. But all of a sudden everything clicked!
A Seahawks 28 and Falcons 27 score with less than a minute to go!
Daddy told me to jump and oh boy I did! Can you say 12th Man! Unfortunately . . . can you also say "Field Goal"!
I guess the Hawks weren't expecting that one. In the end it was all too much for me to deal with. Unfortunately, I don't think my first Father/Son Football Game was a very good experience for me.
In the end I had to drown my sorrows with one of the last remaining Seahawks cupcakes at Trophy.
Nothing like some sugar to take away the pain of defeat. Hold your head high Seahawks. There is always 2014.
12th Man!
