Party . . . . I've Seen Better

Daddy had a Birthday today.  I was excited.  I was looking forward to all my friends coming over to PARTY!

Well, turns out when you turn 38 instead of 3 things are a little less exciting.  Nothing like adding a few Zeros behind your age to make you boring.

As long as we are playing things low key I figured Daddy could appreciate some of my toy cars that I didn't want anymore.  Mommy had other ideas though.  Hello Dinosaur Tie Clip!

Can you believe this guy would eventually grow-up to be my Daddy!?!?!  Life is strange.
Oh well, cheers Daddy.
Bottoms Up!

Celebrating My Big Brother's Birthday!

No I don't have an older brother that I have been hiding all this time but I do have the equivalent.  He lives across the street and his name is Cole.

He had turned 6 today and had a Birthday at Arena Sports.  Now, because of his age all the kids were older than me but like a true Big Brother he watched out for me and made me feel welcome.

Check me out far left making funny faces with all the Kindergartners.  I felt like such a Big Boy!
Of course as his surrogate Little Brother even though I deferred the attention to him I thought it only fitting that I sit at the head of the table with him.
Of course what is a party without a little flirting!  Hi there.

Maybe Cole will give me some tips on women in the future, Big Brothers are great for those pointers.

Tying One On For Mommy!

It is hard to believe that over thirty years ago there was a little girl born in San Francisco who would later grow-up to be my Mommy!
My original thought was that Mommy just appeared full grown but it turns out there was actually a long growing process.
How does that Doll taste Mommy?
Well Happy Birthday Mommy!  Thanks for growing up so I could come into the world.
I will celebrate your Birthday by eating the last cupcake.

Love you Mommy!

Getting My Paint On

I have an exciting event planned for this weekend.  The official name for it is a Birthday Party but I call it a bunch of attention focused on me day.  Pretty sweet!  Anyway, it was really bringing out Daddy's creative side.  Turns out he has this passion for painting that he doesn't get to do much but for my Birthday he decided to bust it out!
Dang Daddy!  You are spending my inheritance at the paint store.  Seems like we came back to this place three times today.  Daddy is definitely in the zone.
What a lot of fun.  My only gripe is that when he let me paint he was holding my brush and directed me to scribble on scrap paper most of the time.  Come on Daddy, you've got to let me show my true artistic side eventually.

Celebrating My Deeda

My Deeda had a Birthday today.  Well, it really metamorphosed into a celebration of ME.  This is fairly typical and I love it!

Someone else has a Birthday and you are taken on an adventure to the pool and given a present.  Not bad!

Deeda, you are pretty cool.  You were a good Mommy to my Daddy.  Even though you didn't spoil him as much as you do me.
Sorry I didn't get to meet your Daddy (My Great-Grandfather) but I might make him proud by having a Navy career also.  I think that this hat fits me like a glove!
Again, it is good to be a Grandson on Deeda's Birthday.  In the end all the attention comes back to me.
Life is good!

Happy Birthday Deeda!

Sometimes We Have To Make Our Own Mistakes

My friend Matthew had his First Birthday today.  I was very excited to be going.  I had seen the cupcakes his Mommy had been making on Facebook the night before.
Matthew was really hitting the cake hard.  I am a little bit older and wiser so I tried to warn him.  It is ok  to have a little fun at your Birthday with sweets but you need to practice some restraint.

I'm only saying this because I've made the same mistake myself at my two Birthdays.

When the initial rush was over he was pretty catatonic.  Hey, I tried to worn him.  Sometimes life lessons are better to be learned through experience.

Regardless, Happy Birthday Matthew

A Birthday Party Cut Short!

I am always one who is happy to drop everything and go to a Birthday Party!

So when I heard my gal Emilie was turning the Big 0-4 I was more than excited for a party!

Yeah, Mommy was getting a bit too close for comfort to her little sister Sarah but I could let it go.  After all I was at a party.  Just as long as she didn't take her home I was fine.
At first it was a bit intimidating with all those older women who were much taller than me but soon I was impressing them with my drawing skills.

So much fun, eating, drinking and socializing!  Well, unfortunately the eating got the better of me.  It isn't my job to monitor what I eat, that responsibility is for my parents.  They must have been having too much fun because all of a sudden I was eating a cake with Almond Milk in it. Can you say Nut Allergy!

Well, that was the end of it.  We were headed home so I could be closer to my Epi Pen!

Talk about having too much fun!

Lame.

Another Birthday Successfully Hijacked!

Well there weren't any balloons or party favors at Daddy's Birthday tonight but that didn't mean I wasn't going to take it over for myself!

The idea that someone would have a Birthday that I wouldn't be the center of is just too much for me to bare!
Well, after a few strong words I was able to start blowing out candles of my own.  I took a few of my Daddy's presents home for myself also.

I wonder whose Birthday this really was for!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Taking It To The Next Level

One of my gals Kayla had her fifth Birthday Party today and boy did I have fun.  It was a bit of a drive but when they told me I was going to a Birthday Party I was good to go.

When we got out of the car we were at Elevated Sportz!

Whew!  The Bouncy House in my neighborhood had nothing on this place.

I was just having way too much fun.  It was intense!

There are very few places where you can play being a Knight and a Tail Gunner at the same time!
Unfortunately despite all the fun including staff dressed as mice it turned out that the note they attached to my back was a notation for when our party was going to be over!

At 4:30 we were hustled out!

I couldn't resist trying to grab one of Kayla's presents before we left but was stopped by my Mommy.  She assured me that despite the colorful wrapping I probably wouldn't want a new dress.

Another Birthday For Me!

Today was Mommy's Birthday. Happy Birthday Mommy!
Now that I have given Mommy due consideration I am perfectly happy to hijack the event for myself.
When I see those two candles I don't see "34", I see 3 and 4, in honor of my impending 3rd and 4th Birthdays. You are the most important person in the world to me Mommy! I just can't bring myself to give you an entire day without turning some of the attention to myself! I will help you blowing out those candles! -Jaxon

Party Animal

I had my Birthday party this weekend. At first I was apprehensive. It is not everyday that a bunch of other toddlers descend on your house and start playing with your toys. Especially my precious Audi!
It upset me so much I had to briefly run to my room to settle down. Still it was worth it. Especially when the 4N Gang reunited!
And by the time my Volcano cake started to erupt with dry ice I was totally becoming a little Party Animal!
Oh what fun the Dinosaur dig in the sand box was!
All and all I did fairly well. My guests left with a plastic dinosaur party favor and I got gift! I should have a Birthday Party every weekend!

Happy Birthday Papo!

My Papo had his Birthday today!

I have only had one of these but my Papo has had a few more.

Amazingly HE was a little guy like me once! Back in the late 1940s he was one of the Baby Boomers!

Unfortunately because of the the recession there are fewer Babies in my generation but I still have plenty of friends.

Can you believe this little guy would someday be my Papo!
