Piloting a Steam Scow in Laurelhurst

The construction at the new park was done and I was all over it.

Best of all they had installed a new boat-  a replica of the Steam Scow Squak!

I already have quite a bit of experience piloting boats so it was natural that I take the helm.

Daddy was pestering me to share with the other kids but I was not going to bow to the pressure.  We can have a discussion about who the captain is when I safely steer the scow into safe harbor, but if you mess with the chain of command while you are out at sea you put lives at risk Daddy!

Remember Daddy, you are second mate, not the Captain!
