When my Daddy was my age in the 1970s there was a boy next door his same age named Caleb who became his first friend.
Well . . . turns out Caleb has a little boy MY age named Max who came to visit from California with his Mom Sharsti today.
We didn't bond immediately. I pushed him away from the wheel on some of the park equipment but when I was scolded I agreed to play nice.
Turns out you can't use a seesaw without a friend and it is a lot more fun to go down a slide together. Okay, I'll stop pushing him around.
What a nice guy also. Nothing says friendship like when someone gives you a rock he finds on the ground.
Looking forward to seeing my new friend again.
