I visited Santa today. Not my first trip to see the guy. But last year I was such a wee one I slept through the whole experience.
Not this year though. First of all, the wait was too long and by the time I finally got in I was about as mad as a little hornet who had his nest disturbed.
I just wanted to go home and sleep but they put me on his lap and expected me to pose!
That just was not going to be in the cards today!
By they way, just because I didn't care to talk to you about what I wanted doesn't give you the excuse not to give me everything I desire in my stocking!
Making sure I keep Santa Clause in check!

I Might Have Found My Calling!
I'm going to get most of my presents on Christmas but when we were shopping today I found something that I just could not be without!
Mommy felt sorry for me because of a little bullying by "Thomas" at the toy store so I left with it as a sympathy gift.
And man, have I put it to use!
I petitioned Daddy to let me pass on school and just adopt this as my new profession but I didn't seem to be making any headway.
I guess I'm headed to preschool after all.

Adventure to Bothell!
Mommy's friend Karie invited us on a journey today. It ended at the Bothell Country Village!
The rooster wasn't for show either. It turns out in Bothell chickens mix freely with humans. Wow!
When we drove in I instantly felt like I had a connection to the place.
They misspelled my name and I don't understand how I relate to furniture but I appreciated the thought.
We visited Toys That Teach. Total hook up. I didn't think things would get any more exciting.
Until we got Kettle Corn!
Phew! Talk about another taste explosion for a little guy.
I will return to this magical place of Kettle Corn and Free Range Chickens soon. It was like going to the Land of Oz.

A Full Day of Friends
Wow . . . never say I don't know how to be a social little boy. Generally it is just Mommy, Daddy and Me but not today!
I started the day with Ben and Monica. Man, did we know how to tear it up.

Books and toys were flying. We had a lot of fun!
So much so that I lay down for a Three Hour nap!
Yeah I was a little frazzled after that. Phew! The nap was all for the best though. After that I was headed up the street to visit Nora and Dominic!
Even more fun!
Of course, before 8:00 despite all the fun we were all tired and crying.
Hey, the party had to end eventually!

Getting the Lights Up
After seeing what can happen with Christmas lights I was a little bit concerned about what this could involve.
After I saw what happened to Clark Griswold I was a little concerned about Papo getting on his ladder today.
Still, after getting the lights up both Daddy and Papo were still alive. Perhaps Christmas lights aren't that dangerous.
Hey, I'm a baby. If Christmas lights are depicted as a life and death struggle in the media that is what I am going to accept as my reality.
I was expecting a little more excitement through the whole process though. No explosions like on TV. I ended up napping after watching them for a few minutes.
I'm beginning to think life in the world isn't as fun as the movies.
Still, I did appreciate the lights. So much that I kissed them a few times.

The Ghost of Christmas
Daddy was acting like Ebenezer Scrooge tonight. He was talking to Mommy about how many Christmas gifts I should have and he was basically trying to lower the number.
Like Scrooge I figured Daddy needed a talking to from a ghost. He needed to get put back in his place.
Nothing like a visit from a Christmas Ghost. I'll get all the presents Mommy was arguing for now.
Only one little Ghost was necessary this year . . . but if you try pulling this again Daddy, get ready for a visit from a Jaxon from the Past, Present and Future.
Merry Christmas Everyone (Especially Me)!

Christmas Cheer Continues
Phew! Man was I worn out tonight. For a good reason.
Auntie Ashley and Rick took me on a massive road trip to Ft. Casey on Whidbey Island.
I know exactly what I want for Christmas this year. A gun that big that we can put in the back yard to scare away intruders!
After that I was whisked away for a dinner out. I was serenaded by carolers and was massively well fed.
I would have probably slept all the way home . . . had it not been for the final Christmas cookie. Talk about giving me another lease on life.
Ok . . . along with the cannon mounted in the back yard I want a giant glowing train to circle the house.
Of course tomorrow I will have probably have changed my mind about new gifts but it is my prerogative, I am a baby. Until they have landed under the try I can continually re-evaluate.
