How Will I Describe This To My Children . . . ?

Well Seattle has partially opened up.  I can walk through a park now but we aren't at a time where I can just hang-out with other kids, you have to keep moving!

Eventually my parents say I will get to reflect back on these times and tell my kids what I endured and I know exactly how I will describe my time . . .

. . . Lots of sitting on uncomfortable rocks and street corners to avoid places people with Corona Virus might have touched.

So Mommy and Daddy have been pretty bored during the Quarantine.  Mommy has her Podcasts and Daddy has his Basement and Beer.  Generally they just seem bored right now.  Well not tonight . . .

I was intrigued at first.  My parents say I have a "Cat Allergy"  and am not allowed a Kitten but this man has hundreds and when he's not playing with them he is shooting his gun and blowing things up.  

It isn't that I didn't appreciate learning a little about Joe Exotic it is just that I was disturbed by the hold he had over my parents.  As the hours flew by Mommy and Daddy just became more fixated on his convoluted life with his strange feuds and the shadier people he seemed to be associating with.

Usually I would just use my parents being distracted as an opportunity to play more video games but after a couple hours I felt obligated to just put myself to bed.  If Mommy and Daddy are going to watch a Netflix series way past all of our bedtimes I can't be expected to be a 9 year old Parent.  I can only take responsibility for my own well being!

I guess thing didn't really turn out that well for Joe in the end.  I bet when he was a boy his parents didn't tuck him in either.  Just saying . . . 

Blogging Because I'm Bored!

Granted I haven't posted on my Blog for a while and why should I ?!?  I was having way too much fun being a Little Boy.  I know a lot has happened.  Trump got elected, I started school, riding a bike,  I started going to the park on my own and got introduced to Minecraft and PewDiePie.  The desire to Blog just seemed antiquated and then came this . . .

Yeah, no school, no visiting with friends.  I feel like I've truly grown-up now that I've learned life can hit you with a Corona Virus curve ball.

As you can see I'm not exactly the fat, dumb and happy Baby that started the Blog, now life has hardened me.  Sadly, when you become wiser you don't always become happier.

Yep, my reality has changed, empty streets and parks, no physical interaction with my friends going on a month now.

Dad has been taking it hard also, his playground is closed also and he has never been the same!  

So yeah, as long as COVID 19 is hiding out there I have to keep a lower profile at home so this Blog will be a way to vent a bit.

I will strive to maintain the quality of my Blog from the previous years.  It just might have more of an  EDGE now!
